PREREADING REFLECTION:
Do you have pets? If so, how many, what are they, what are their names? Describe them. If not, why not? Do you not want them? Are you allergic? If you could have a pet what would you want it to be?
Yes, I have two pets, they are both dogs, and their names are Samson and Princess. Samson is a French Mastiff and is a boy. Princess is a German Shepard Lab mix and is a girl.
How do people, whether it is you or someone you know, treat their animals/pets?
The people I know treat their animals with care and love them just like I treat mine. What do you think "survival of the fittest" means? How can you relate this to animals? How can you relate this to your own life?
I think that "survival of the fittest" means that you are really good at surviving, and I can relate this to some animals because some animals are really good at surviving on the wild by their self's. I can relate this to my life because humans don't have to hunt for food they just buy it at the store, so it would be easy to survive.
