The Road Less Traveled Analysis
In the poem The Road Less Traveled by Robert Frost what I thought was going to happen by looking at the title was that someone was going to go down a road that is rarely traveled on. In the poem the poem there are twenty lines and four stanzas. In line one it says “Two roads diverged in a yellow wood.” That line confuses me because I don't know what Frost is talking about but what I think he is talking about is tress that has yellow leaves. I feel that Frost was writing this as if it was a letter because in line two it says “And sorry I could not travel both” It sounds like he is taking to someone but he could just be writing to the reader.
I think that Frost used good imagery in this poem, for example on line eight in stanza two it says “Because it was grass and wanted wear” in this line it he shows how it is grassy and really get the reader to imagine the landscape along with using imagery in other lines. I think that one other thing that Frost did well with was in line twelve he wrote “In leaves no step had trodden black” in that line the word trodden is another way to say walk. Overall I think Frost made a great poem and would love to read more of his poems
