Theory Of Relativity
Two scientist named Michelson and Morley wanted to know how fast earth was moving through space. They measured the speed of light to try to figure out how it worked. For example if you are moving the same direction with something it would look slower, but if you are just standing there watching it, it would look faster because you are not moving. That is the same thing which happens with the earth because when you are earth you are actually going 1,000 miles per hour, but if you are running 10 miles an hour you would actually be running 1,010 mile an hour. Albert Einstein was the scientist who came up with the Theory of Relativity.
